- Categories: is your primary category the most specific accurate one? Are the additional ones helping or blurring?
- Name, address / service area: checked against Google's guidelines (common suspension risks flagged).
- Completeness: hours, phone, website, description (750-char limit), services, products, attributes, booking links.
- Reviews: count, rating, recency, replies, with reply templates.
- Photos and posts: what's there, what's missing, simple ideas for your business.
- NAP spot check: name, address, phone consistency on your website and a few major directories (a spot check, not a full citation audit).

What a report looks like
Sample excerpt: FICTIONAL business. “Example Harbour Plumbing Co.” does not exist; the name, city, findings and figures below are invented purely to show the format of a report. They are not results from a real client.
1. Categories
Finding: Primary category is Contractor, which is broader than the work described on the website (mostly leak repairs, water heaters, drain clearing). The three businesses shown first on Maps for “plumber [city]” all use Plumber as primary.
Fix (quick win, ~5 min): Change primary to Plumber; keep Water heater installation service as additional only if you install them regularly. Expect Google may ask you to re-verify after a category change.
2. Business name
Finding: Profile name is “Example Harbour Plumbing Co. – 24/7 Emergency Plumber Downtown”, but signage and website say “Example Harbour Plumbing Co.”.
Fix (this week, high priority): Rename to match signage exactly. Taglines and locations in the name break Google's name guidelines and are a common suspension trigger.
3. Address / service area
Finding: A residential address is shown, but the website says “we come to you”.
Fix: Hide the address and list the towns or postcodes you really serve (max 20).
4. Reviews
Finding: Several recent reviews have no owner reply.
Fix: Reply to each within a week; 3 reply templates are included in the appendix. Keep asking every customer, with no incentives.

Profiles in the US, UK, Australia and Canada, written in English with local spelling.
What if my profile is suspended?
